A menagerie of farm animals rescued by Longmeadow Rescue Ranch.
The Barnyard Bunch Story
Horses, goats, sheep, ducks, geese, chickens and a pig or two – all came to Longmeadow Rescue Ranch because their former owners could no longer provide the proper food, shelter and veterinary care they needed. Some were nearly starving to death. Others didn’t have a good, safe place to sleep at night or shelter from extreme weather. Some had hooves so overgrown they couldn’t walk and open sores on their bodies. For many of the Barnyard Bunch, Longmeadow Rescue Ranch was their last chance for a loving, caring home.
After their rescue, every member of the Barnyard receives an examination from a veterinarian who knows just what each animal needs. Then every day, each animal gets the special hay, grain and other food and medicines they need to heal their sores and cure their illnesses. The Barnyard Bunch is lovingly cared for by professional staff and knowledgeable volunteers, and veterinarians who specialize in horses and farm animals. The Barnyard Bunch even have their own stalls, paddocks and pens for eating, playing and sleeping. Your support as a Barnyard sponsor or gift recipient makes this special treatment and care possible.
