Groundwork classes focus on the study of horse behavior and body language to improve
your horsemanship through communication and understanding of the horse. Classes use natural horsemanship training techniques for the ultimate goal of developing a calmer, more trusting and more willing partner in your horse. Horses are taught in a relaxed, well-organized environment with small class sizes. Students will work in pairs with assigned Longmeadow horses, supervised at all times by the instructor. The introductory class is designed to teach you how to communicate with horses of varying ages, breeds, temperaments and skill levels. PREREGISTRATION REQUIRED
