We are mixed-breed Nigerian dwarf goats who came to Longmeadow Rescue Ranch in 2016. Since then we’ve grown quite fond of people. We enjoy going to events and basking in the limelight during media appearances. But we never mind staying behind at the ranch, where we stay busy guarding hay piles and keeping the miniature donkeys in line.

Unlike most of the other Barn Buddies, Shirley and I lived a very good life before coming to Longmeadow. Our owner was forced to move and was not allowed to bring us or their other animals, but they were determined to find everyone a stable home. And that’s how the two of us came to the ranch and joined the Barn Buddies.

Shirley was keeping a big secret when she arrived at Longmeadow. Not long after we got here, the veterinarian revealed Shirley was pregnant! Three months later she gave birth to a healthy baby girl named Panda. Eventually, Panda went on to find her very own loving home.

We love life at Longmeadow Rescue Ranch. As light sleepers, we enjoy long sunny days for napping, and long cool nights…for napping. Our care includes regular hoof maintenance, deworming and vaccinations. As our sponsor, you help make this life possible for us! Thank you, and please come visit soon.
