hello, i’m valentino, and i’m an alpaca.
I came to Longmeadow in August 2025 when I was just a year old.

my journey:
I was born in Arkansas and lost my mom unexpectedly at a young age. My herd was all senior alpacas, and I was always getting into mischief because of our big age gap. When my family heard via Southeast Llama Rescue that Longmeadow was looking for a friend for their young alpaca, Alpacacino, it was a perfect match! Alpacacino and I are now best friends and love to play rough together. Our human caretakers fondly call us “Al and Val.”

Though I am extremely curious by nature and do venture out on my own from time to time, I find comfort in being around my alpaca friends at the Ranch. We are herd animals and enjoy spending time together! If you spot me, my friends are likely nearby.
