Groundwork classes focus on the study of horse behavior and body language to improve your horsemanship through communication and understanding of the horse.

A special groundwork class, geared towards children, uses natural horsemanship training techniques for the ultimate goal of developing a calmer, more trusting and more willing partner in your horse. Horses and children are taught in a relaxed, well-organized environment with a small class size. Students will work in pairs with assigned Longmeadow horses, supervised at all times by qualified instructors.

Our mini-session is an introductory lesson to teach you how to communicate with horses of varying ages, breeds, temperaments and skill levels. Classes use natural horsemanship training techniques for the ultimate goal of developing a calmer, more trusting and more willing partner in your horse.
