Leche and Encanto came to Longmeadow this year when their previous owners could no longer care for them. Although devastated, they knew Longmeadow would find a home for the donkeys they had had for years. When Leche and Encanto arrived, their owners asked if they could find a home together. We told them we would try, but it couldn’t be promised…
Well, the previous owner of these donkeys can sleep well tonight because just before Christmas, the two boys found their forever home TOGETHER!
Janice and Dennis had adopted a pair of bonded mini horses from us years ago. The older mini had recently passed away, so they were looking for a new partner for the other mini horse at home. They found little Encanto and knew he would be perfect, but when they saw Leche, they knew they had to take both.
Now, Leche and Encanto get to go home to another Longmeadow alum, where the three of them will get to live out the rest of their lives together with their new family. Thank you, Janice and Dennis, for giving more of our equine a loving forever home.
